The OnePlus 6T is only a few months away from being officially revealed. The top of the Asian company has an update every 6 months and although I do not really like this ideology the truth is that it is succeeding.
Updates from 5 to 5T were considerable. The 5T brought us basically the same specifications, however, a much larger screen with much lower margins.
Now it’s almost time to see the next OnePlus 6T being announced and there’s still no relevant information about the next terminal. At least until now.
Whoever accompanies the evolution of the smartphones of the brand knows that the terminals of the Asian company are, at certain times, inspired by the equipment of the OPPO. I remember OnePlus, OPPO and Vivo are part of BBK Electronics. That is, the same company with different goals.
OPPO R17 is a strong candidate to be the future OnePlus 6T…
OPPO and Vivo are dominating in China and OnePlus is making a positive impact in Europe, the United States of America and India.
To explain myself more concretely and to explain my point of view more clearly we have to look a little in the past. The OnePlus 5 was extremely based on the OPPO R11 and the 5T on the OPPO R11s.
This new OPPO R17 could be the 6T. Much because we have a design that follows the ideology of “6”. We have an identical rear, a reduced notch, and the biometric sensor on the screen. Something that the 6T is expected to offer us.
Of course, all this is speculation. However, I do not think OnePlus wants to create a brand new terminal in less than 6 months. This OPPO R17 is a strong candidate to be the future OnePlus 6T.
